License Terms

Version 1.2 — July 2026 · Plain language on purpose. The short version: one license, one PC (movable via a support ticket), purchases run through our Discord, don't share the key, everything is reversible, all sales final.

1. What you're buying

A personal, non-transferable lifetime license to use Daito's Opti on one (1) Windows PC that you own or control (keys purchased before 9 July 2026 remain valid on two PCs — that never changes for them). "Lifetime" means the lifetime of the product: you receive all updates for as long as the product is actively maintained, with no recurring payment. It is not a promise of eternal maintenance.

2. Activation and machines

• Your license key activates on 1 machine (keys purchased before 9 July 2026 keep their 2-machine limit permanently), locked to a hashed hardware fingerprint. We never receive raw hardware serial numbers.
• To move your license to another PC — for example when replacing one — open a ticket in our Discord (or mail support) and we free the old machine's slot for you, usually within a day. Moves are handled by support to prevent key-sharing abuse.
• A single hardware component change (e.g. a new CPU or motherboard, not both) does not consume an extra slot.
• After activation the app works offline; occasional silent revalidation happens when a connection is available.

3. Keep your key to yourself

Sharing, publishing, reselling or "lending" license keys is prohibited and voids the license. Keys are personal. We may revoke keys that show abuse patterns (e.g. activation attempts from many different machines).

4. Purchase, delivery and refunds

• Purchases are arranged through our Discord via a buy ticket (or by e-mail if you prefer): a human confirms the price, the payment method and any questions with you before you pay. There is no on-site checkout, and this site never asks for payment details.
• Delivery is digital and immediate: your key and download link are handed to you in the ticket (or by e-mail if arranged there).
• All sales are final. Because the license key is digital content delivered and usable immediately, you expressly confirm in your buy ticket, before paying, that you consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that you thereby waive the EU 14-day right of withdrawal (art. 16(m) Consumer Rights Directive / art. 6:230p sub g BW).
• Refund and support requests are handled through the same Discord ticket system (or by e-mail).
• This does not affect your non-excludable statutory rights. If the product materially fails to work on your system and support cannot fix it, contact us — we're not interested in keeping money for software you cannot run.

5. Revocation

We may revoke a license key in case of payment reversal (e.g. a chargeback), payment fraud, key sharing/resale, or abuse. A revoked key stops activating and validating; the app's undo/recovery features keep working without a license, so a revocation never locks you out of reverting changes.

6. What the software does — and your responsibility

Daito's Opti changes Windows settings you choose to apply. It creates a System Restore point first, journals every change, and provides per-tweak undo plus Revert All. You remain responsible for your machine: read the description of a tweak before applying it, and keep backups of data you care about, as you should regardless of this product.

7. As-is disclaimer and liability

The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the software or these terms is limited to the amount you paid for your license. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited (e.g. intent or gross negligence).

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.
